Just have to wish my dear Packers good luck tonight in the Super Bowl!!  I will be heading out to Double Tree to have some dinner and watch the game.  I really wish I could be in Wisconsin tonight because I'm sure it would be much more fun.  Oh well, I just hope there aren't too many Steelers fans here in Colorado.

It snowed quite a bit last night so I don't think I will be taking a nice long walk today, but I will force myself to go for a short walk and I will get some knitting done today until the game starts.

Job

I got offered a job today!!!  Yay!  It is at my first choice place too.  Really close to home.  I start sometime next week.  The manager needs to get an orientation set up for me.  I really hope I like it there, it seems like a nice place and they are pretty strict and organized so I should fit right in :)

I wish I could see Luis more.  He is so busy at the restaurant and he doesn't even take time for himself to sleep enough.  I miss him and I am only 20 minutes away :(  It will help having a job so there is something to split up my days.  I have been knitting and crocheting like a mad woman but it doesn't distract me enough.

I had to take Izzie in to the vet yesterday.  One of her anal glands burst and she had an open wound.  She is doing pretty good.  The wound is healing already and she has a little more energy today.  She doesn't really like to leave the chair and she licks once in awhile but she stops right away when I tell her to.  She is such a good dog.  In 2 weeks she gets her teeth cleaned.  I am so excited because her breath smells like a dead animal.

I'm Here!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I made it to Colorado and I am almost set up in my new apartment.  Just finagling with a few things to try and make everything fit nicely.  I love it so far.  I love my apartment, I love the town, I love the view of the mountains, and I love the sun!!  Even when it is cold the sun is still beating down!  And I'm so glad that I am close to Luis.  I still don't get to see him every day but almost :)

Colorado here I come!

It is official!  I found and apartment and I will be there on January 8th.  I'm really excited about moving and starting a new chapter of my life.  There are some friends here that I am really going to miss but that is about all that I will miss.  The new apartment is bigger and nicer and the town is really nice.  It is a small town but it has a lot to offer that I am interested in.

I hate packing though!!!!!!!!

Fall 2010 Convocation Journey

The Fall Convocation was a lot of fun!!  We have some very talented writers in Ravenclaw Tower and it was so nice of them to take the time and effort to do Convocation for us.  I'm proud to say that I reached each milestone and was able to help save Foxy.  Here are the badges I earned:

 I earned 632 points for my house (I don't think all bonus points were counted though).  I really did a lot of knitting and crocheting for this term and I was the 10th highest points scorer of Ravenclaw.  Next term I will be crafting solely from stash and I have a lot of bigger projects to do so hopefully the mojo can keep flowing.  I hope the move doesn't cut down on my crafting time too much though.

I'm Moving!!!

Paris was great!!  I had a great time with Mom and we were able to see so many things.  Mom had a great time and was really excited to have gotten to Europe...if not a little annoyed at some inconveniences...like no public restrooms :)  I really want to take her to Italy sometime too.

Next week I am heading to Colorado to try to find a place to live.  I'm so excited to see Luis again.  I miss him sooo much.  I'm flying in and renting a car at the airport.  This will be the first time I've ever rented a car!  I'm very excited to move but I'm not excited to have to move all my stuff...I just can't seem to get rid of anything though.

My seventh term of the HPKCHC has officially ended.  It sounds like we will be starting Ministry Levels now so that will be cool.  I have grand plans for next term with OWLs and getting a bunch of my stash used up.  I have come to terms with myself and admitted that I have way too much yarn and I need to use it up before I buy any more.  My goal is to get it all down to one rubbermaid tote and then I can buy yarn to make a Sylvi.  I'm confident that I have the skill to make one now but I definitely want to get some nice yarn to make it so I will have to wait until my stash is used up...hopefully I'm not 80 by that time (I'm only 27 now).

Bye bye October, Hello Paris!

Well, October is ending.  I have enjoyed seeing all the leaves change and fall.  I love the smell of Fall!!  It is getting colder in the Northwoods and I've had to break out the hats, scarves, and mittens.  I better get my winter boots out of storage too because it will start snowing very soon.

It was a pretty good month for the House Cup.  I finished 4 classes, 2 OWL 50% marks, and a quidditch project.  I'm really excited for the new movie to come out this November.

November 3rd my mom and I leave for Paris!!!!!!!!!  We are going for 8 days, 7 nights.  One day we have tickets to take the chunnel to London for the day too!  Mom has never been to Europe and I'm really excited to go back.  I even found some yarn stores to check out :)

I am sad to be leaving Luis though.  He is leaving tonight to go to Colorado and won't be back until Wednesday night.  I'm leaving Wednesday morning so we will just miss each other and I won't see him until the 11th or 12th :(  There is a good possibility that we will be moving to Colorado.  I'm excited and nervous at the same time.  I'm itching to move again but things will be really strained with his family there.  I guess we will just have to see what happens....
